Things to Do Before Giving Away Your Mobile

Technology is changing from this to that in a rapid process, so do the mobile devices we have. To dovetail with the expanding and ever new technologies, we sometimes need to upgrade our mobile phone. Now, what about our old phones? In most of the cases, we sell them. Before selling your old phone we should few simple things -
  •     First and foremost, remove all the cards you have in the mobile phone. This includes removing your SIM card(s) and you micro-SD card. The micro-SD card is very important as it sometimes contain most sensitive personal data which can reveal your private life.
  •     The next thing is to remove your contacts. But before removing your contacts you should back up the contacts. To back up use apps like super back up or simply create a csv files of your contacts and upload in your computer or another mobile.
  •     You can now hard reset your mobile. This will delete all the contacts and your accounts related with this phone.
  •     How to hard reset a mobile is intrinsic to mobile phone model, so you need to their sites for information in that regard.
  •     Never give your micro-SD card to anybody,  It doesn't matter how trustworthy the person you're selling to.

These are the few basic things which any tyro level mobile users can do to protect himself from harms and data frauds.
