Many People don't know what is a teraflop

In computer and related technologies many people don't know what is teraflop. Teraflop is a term to tell users how many floating point operation the computer can perform or to be precise the processor can do. The teraflop is a term elated to speed of the processor and it has nothing to do with computer memory as generally misconceived by common users. Teraflop is generally denote trillions of operations per second and this is a common measure in hi-end scientific and other research level computers.

The computer speed does not entirely dependent on teraflop counts but also depends on many things as I/O operations, availability of memory, storage restrictions, cache memory and other factors.
